Like i said this morning, i will tell you about how crew went for me. so i got there early and started talking to some of the other students there for conditioning, and everyone was really nice. i knew a couple more people than i expected, so i was never alone. i started out pretty good when we had to do a 15 minute jog, and i stayed pretty much at the same pace the whole time, even though i feel like if i wanted to i could have gone faster. but as for the actual rowing...i think i did pretty good. my friends were always surrounding me, cheering me on and telling me how great i was doing. i impressed the coach because i was getting better times than more than half of the people there. i impressed myself actually because i think i caught on really quickly.
The rest of the week should be really fun and very interesting because tomorrow, my school is having a 3-hour delay, and all of my classes besides one are 30 minutes long. on Thursday, my physics video project is going to be shown to the class (and it's amazingly funny). and on Friday all of the psychology students are going on a field trip that lasts all day long. and then, after that i only have to make it through one more full week until winter break!!!!
I cant wait for winter break because my cousin that i havent seen in a while is coming to visit my aunt and my mom; she is going to spend 5 days by my aunt and 5 days at my house. and shes going to be staying long enough for my birthday :] so this year its gonna be extra special. this year, its going to be great!!
This is my life in words, my escape from the disappointment of my family. The life of a teenage girl who plays soccer, lives on music, has a journal, and has found out that you cant trust everyone, people you love will hurt you and that no matter what always Triple B: Breathe, Believe, and Be.

TODAY
Today i told this guy that i would consider going to crew conditioning. i told him that like last week and ever since then hes gotten all excited about me being there with him, and the conditioning is two days a week, tuesday and thursday. so yeah that means that its today! and see the thing is, i liked this guy all of last year, and i dont know if that whole crush thing is still there. I really hope that i dont make a complete fool of myself, but knowing me, i will fail horribly at whatever im doing. I only have one other real friend doing the conditioning to, so i guess if things got awkward i could just hang with her,but i hope it never gets to that point. this guy is really nice, and athletic, and smart, i would hate to ruin our whole friendship over something as stupid as crew. so i guess ill post again later today and tell you guys how it goes :]

STEP ONE
We have had the couches in my family room ever since we have moved here, which is a long time. Well yeah a lot of things in my house is older than i am because my parents kept things from when my older brother was born. but back to the couches, these couches look like they have gone through World War I and II. My first cat Aazoo made a huge hole on the side of one of them, and then all of my other cats that came after him just added to the destruction of the couches. Its gotten so bad that you can now see the frame of the couch, and ever since Black Friday when all of the sales were happening, ive been trying to get my dad to buy new couches. and today for the first time in like 17 or more years, my dad stepped into a furniture store. We went to a couple of stores, but the couch that i like is in Value City, the couch is gray and it wraps around like a half circle, i think its gonna look perfect in the house. the only thing is, that we havent bought it yet...and i dont know if its gonna be bought, but i hope it is because my cousin that i love is coming to America for the first time with her husband, and i dont want them sitting on those horrible couches.

OH HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED
So today i just saw the movie Footloose. no, not the one that was just made but the original movie, like the one that was created somewhere around the 80's. i have yet to watch the new movie, and i hope that it lives up to the expectations that a lot of people had. i know that i have really big expectations after watching the old version. The old version with Kevin Bacon, is extremely amazing. I loved the storyline and the actors were great actors. i also loved how back then they werent afraid to have a needed "fight" scene, and also be able curse out someone who completely deserved it when the movie was rated PG-13. nowadays, movies are so afraid to show people the truth, in what the real consequences would be if certain actions were taken. one scene from the movie that i completely didnt see coming was when the bad guy punched the main girl (sorry, im not really good at remembering movie characters names:/), i mean i can see that happening in real life, if the guy was a total ass, but it could happen nonetheless. i wonder if that scene was in the new movie, or if they just skipped over it.
Something that i noticed that has most definitely changed throughout the years is the style of music. In the remake, the songs are of the extremes; they are either upbeat and fast-paced, or slow. in the old version, there isnt any extremes, the songs are very much in the middle. i like how the music was back in the day, it would make some people look at life a little differently if old music was listened to a lot more, especially teenagers/young adults.
Hope all the movies you watch are not a waste of time/money

BACK TO THE NORM
Yeah, so this week in the Premier League Liverpool tied with Manchester City, Chelsea beat Wolverhampton by three and Manchester United tied with Newcastle, also Arsenal tied with Fulham. yeah thats a lot of teams that tied. I was actually pretty proud that Liverpool tied with Manchester City, even though i thought that if they had tried just a bit harder that they could have won that game, they had so many chances to score a goal. But on the other end i have to give credit where credit is deserved, Joe Hart was an amazing goal keeper during that match, he made some awesome saves. just the fact alone that Manchester City didnt win the game has helped out so many clubs. If they had won that game then they would be waaaaayyyy ahead of the rest of the other teams including Manchester United. so in actuality the other teams should thank Liverpool for playing a great game of football. hahahahah :] okay maybe that pushing it a bit far.
Cant wait for next week,

THANKSGIVING
This year i went over to my cousins house for Thanksgiving, the dinner was great and the turkey was spectacular. there wasnt alot of people there...maybe 11 people. so there was no big fight like last year, and we answered question that was in the theme of Thanksgiving, that was videotaped by me. It was very fun and relaxing, up until people in my family started criticizing people of being liars and whatnot. but even that wasnt horrible to point that the holidays were ruined.
At about 11 everyone was in the van to go Black Friday shopping. My brother and my youngest cousin went to Best Buy, while everyone else went to Target. My brother ended up getting some really good speakers for about 60 bucks and my cousin got headphones for 50. at Target mom and i got about 20 DVDs for 40 bucks which i thought was pretty good. my aunt and her family got DVDs, a kinect, kinect games, and also something else that i forgot :/ overall i think this black friday was a success! I went to bed along with the rest of my family at 3 in the morning and ended up getting up at 10 in the morning cuz my dad decided to leave work early. we left their house at 11:41 in the morning and then went straight home. we were gonna go to the mall but when we arrived, the parking lot (car park) was completely filled. it was crazy, so we decided to just go home.
I hope everyone had a great and exciting holiday

HALF- DAY & BOOKS
So today was a half-day at my school today and actually it was pretty pointless. We had four classes for 45 minutes and not a lot of people were in the classes. My cousin had today off of school so she got an extra day to sleep in. but its not that bad cuz i got home around 11:10 a.m. and so my day probably would have started around that time anyway if i had stayed home today. In my English class we are reading The Scarlet Letter, and i know that a lot of people take a lot from it, but i cant really bring myself to read it all at once...normally once i start to read a book i can get really into it and read for hours, but i cant for this book. dont get me wrong, it seems really interesting...i just cant read it. Now a book that i read in 2 days is The Glass Castle. THAT book is amazingly good. i think i liked it a lot because i can compare sorta kinda to the author. Jeannette really knows how to write a page turner. i originally got the book from my brother and he said that i would love it. at first i didnt believe him but, honestly, i would recommend that book to anyone who needs inspiration or someone who is going through a rough time...or in fact i would recommend that book to anyone wanting a good book to read.

THAT TIME OF THE YEAR
So its already Christmas season...its about to be Thanksgiving next week and that in itself should be interesting. And then after that its Christmas, meaning that people will be out everyday trying to find the perfect gifts for their family members. I dont know what gifts to give my parents since i dont spend much time with them anymore, but im planning on buying my brother something either to do with Sunderland FC since its his favorite team or something for him to work out on. well to be honest, i think that i could buy him both. i really want to go to the stores on black friday this year because last year i didnt go and mom and my brother went with my cousin and my aunt. they ended up buying stuff that turned out not to be Christmas presents. i was a bit on the disappointed side, but then again, im a bit old for Christmas. i always get mom something she never uses, or she just put it off to the side and then forgets about it. Last year i got her this bracelet that had diamonds and whatnot on it, shes never worn it yet, and she always complains that she never gets anything.
My school has a half day on Wednesday and then is closed for the rest of the week for Thanksgiving break. last year Thanksgiving was a disaster, people were outta control during the dinner, but this year its gonna be different. Firstly, all of the dishes will be made by us "kids". the rules for that is that the kids have to cook and the parents have to eat it. Of course my dad will not be there, but thats not different from last year. secondly, there will not be the same people attending this year from last year, it will only be around 12 people there instead of around 26. and this year i hope its fun and really relaxing. i think that all of the kids that are in school need a break from the stressful lives parents sometimes forget that we have.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas :]

NEW BEGININGS
This week was the first week of school and so far school is going pretty well. This year i am taking 6 advanced classes and i know that i will have alot of homework to do and i will barely have enough free time to do anything cool but its gonna be okay because this year i am going to be timely and organized. i will not procrastinate and im gonna actually do all my work myself. Last year i waited until the last minute to do all my projects but i cant do that anymore because of all the work that i have. My math teacher this year is from England and he is as obsessed with the premier league as i am so that automatically makes his my favorite teacher and also hes a Liverpool fan, so thats always a bonus. This year i plan to be more outspoken and talk more in class...to the teacher, not to my friends lol. last year i said that but this year im actually gonna do it because i like all of my classes and when i like my classes i tend to be more out there with myself.
So ive also realized that i was born in the wrong generation, i enjoy the music that some artists put out nowadays but some of the stuff has no meaning behind it, its just a bunch of party music. Almost every song that appears in the top of many music countdowns have a nice beat and are repetitive, along with stupid lyrics that make no sense. im NOT saying that about every song because i like certain ones that have meaning, but i enjoy music from like the 90's and the 80's alot more, the guys actually sang wonderful songs and they made sense. they had meaning behind every line and word and they were filled with so much emotion. again im not saying that about every song that was made back then, but most of then were great. i was born in the wrong era lol
well i guess ill go now adios

YEAH....MY BAD :[
Sooo... its been quite a while since ive posted anything. but lets just say that my life is really boring at this moment. the only thing thats somewhat interesting is the fact that we (people living on the east coast) got an earthquake and now we are have hurricane Irene coming our way as well. and on top of that, tomorrow my brother is moving into his college dorm (which is when the hurricane is supposed to hit). but its all good lol.
whats not good is how Arsenal is doing in the Premier League. they have lost Cesc Fabergas and Samir Nasri....2 of their best players, and they havent been winning their games recently. but i think its gonna turn around for them and they are gonna get used to be playing without the two of them. anyways they still have a bunch of really good players that they just havent been using so they should be all good to.
While for my team...Liverpool....theyve been doing pretty good so far, i think they are gonna keep up this winning streak for a while. i really do believe that we can challenge for a top spot because now we have 2 strikers that are both great at what they do...we have andy carroll and luis suarez who have been putting in the goals for us. they seem to be doing great for the team, so happy they were signed.
and for those who are interested...maybe no one...possibly someone lol im now playing fantasy football and i have so far not sucked at making a team lol im right in the middle of my group :]
love you guys <3

I COMPLETELY FORGOT
I FEELL SOOOO STUPID :[ i had planned on writing it onto the last post but kinda forgot. but yes the Premier League is over and my dad's favorite team has won the title.
MANCHESTER UNITED WON THEIR 19TH TITLE
For me its not the fact that they won that made me sad/mad it was that they knocked Liverpool off of their podium by getting more titles. :[ BUT then i saw the game and i was sooooo happy...why was a liverpool fan happy when they won? because im also a fan of Wayne Rooney, and he scored the goal that tied the game up. and the thing that i love about him is that he dedicates all of his goals that he makes to his fans.
WAYNE ROONEY YOU ARE A GREAT PLAYER WITH TONS OF FANS STANDING BEHIND YOU READY TO CATCH YOU IF YOU EVER LOSE YOUR FAITH IN YOURSELF :]

THE BEST MOVIE EVER...OR IN A LONG TIME :]
So yes, i have decided to stop with the whole trying to write every day and have decided that i will write when i can. it seems to me that everything is changing so fast. at one time, we are trying to protect everyone around us and then the next we are trying to protect ourselves...are things ever gonna slow down. i dont want to have my children grow up in a world where they will have to run to keep up with the world...a jog perhaps..but at times they'll have to walk and i dont want them to get trampled in all the commotion.
well the title of this isnt "what i want" its "the best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!" lol just without the exclamation points. so yes, on saturday, along with my family, we went to see Fast Five. i have seen all of the Fast n Furious movies and this one is by far my favorite. i am honestly in love with the cast, which would include Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and others who also acted fantastically. i think this was a great movie for the Rock to act in becasuse he has taken a break from all the hard-core fighting movies and to see him back in the action scenes where i think he should belong, was amazing. i think he should continue to be in action movies, cuz afterall you cant really have someone of that build acting in a ballerina outfit...or ballet outfit? idk but either way it shouldnt happen.i would advise anyone to see this movie if they want to see a movie with a great plot and a very nice ending. along with a movie that had some very tricky and smart people to come up with the script and screenplay. the movie had a ver nice twist in the end and i think that anyone who chooses to see the movie, they will walk out of the theater with a content look on their face.
goodbye bloggers, love ya lots :]

THINGS REMEMBERED
Soo, i guess i do have to apologize to all of my faithful blog readers for not sticking with my plan of writing more often...i can say that alot of the plans that i mentioned before in this blog have also failed. This would include my family getting back together. we have not actually talked to each other since thanksgiving even though we have gotten together.
But no, the main purpose for this post is to remember the effects of 9/11. yesterday...or more of last night Osama Bin Laden has been confirmed as dead. today sometime in the morning or the early afternoon he was buried in the sea. the amount of destruction that this man has caused is beyond profound, and it was completely unnecessary. no one that witnessed that moment of US history will ever forget what they saw...and neither will i. but now after years of attempting and failing at finding him...we not only found him but also killed him. this thought brings a peace of mind to some people here in the US but to some others it brings in a whole new set of fears. this new fear being that someone else is going to try and do some form of terrorism because of that we killed him. i hope that this is not true because it would be sad to have even more people die in the name of hatred. i think that it would be completely wrong.
For all those people who lost someone in 9/11 or who saw images that they will never forget for al long as they live, i hope that this brings some form of comfort to you guys, stay strong, and goodbye for now, love y'all XOXO

COMEBACK TIME!!!
I do mean that literally, as in im gonna be writing more than once a month, and also as in the sports way...cuz Liverpool is making a comeback :] im very sad that they had to have one when Fernando Torres left, but i didnt just like Liverpool because of Torres, i like the team. so when he left i was very sad, but i guess if he really didnt want to stay at Liverpool, and wanted to go to a better team, then more power to him. but i really wished that he went to another red team, such as Manchester United, or Arsenal, in my opinion he looks best in red, he looks weird in blue. anyway, they played Chelsea on Sunday, where Torres was play, and where also LIVERPOOL WON 1-0!!!!!!!!! it was a great game. i wanted Liverpool to win the game, cuz thats my team, but at the same time i wanted Torres to score. lol yeah i know its crazy, but it would have made me soooo happy if i had seen him score a great goal on his debut game for them, afterall im still a HUGE fan of his. So while Torres left Liverpool, they got Andrew "Andy" Carrol, and also Luis Suarez. they are both well known good strikers, and im happy liverpool got them. so Liverpools next game is against Wigan Athletic, which im sure they are going to win, but i dont want to jinx them, so i wish them luck

A NEW YEAR: A NEW BEGINING
I know im a little late with the whole new year thing but i think if your within the first month it should still count. so anyway this year my family has vowed to talk to each other more often, now when i say family i mean everyone that lives here, n so far thats only working for a certain amount of people. well at least certain people are sticking to their vow. another thing i noticed is that this year people from my past years of school are starting to reconnect. as an example, last year in like late december my friend that moved to california in 7th grade posted up a picture of my 3rd grade class on Facebook, everyone commented on it and it was amazing because i had forgotten about half of the people. another thing is that even though facebook has been accused of being bad n stuff, when you use it for what its ment for, its actually really nice. like tonight, i accepted a friend request that came from a guy that was in my fifth grade class, we've been talking for about 1hour and 40 minutes. so sticking with the theme, the new begining? well thats easy...be open to new things weather that be friends, family or even upcoming events, just go with it...after all we may only have a year more to live (even though i highly doubt that)....goodnight everyone :]
